HOW IT STARTED

Just a North West Arkansas art-boy with a passion for his fantasy books, a trusty skateboard, and some seriously rad hair, Travis truly embodies a unique and vibrant spirit.

In 1997, this young and eager artist embarked on a transformative journey that would shape the course of his life and lay the foundation for what would eventually become Red Fern Tattoo. His decision to embark on a tattoo apprenticeship was about to sow the seeds of a flourishing artistic venture that would captivate the hearts and minds of countless individuals seeking to express their unique stories on the canvas of their skin.

In spring 2023, Travis made the decision to relocate back to the tranquil landscapes of NW Arkansas, where his journey as a tattoo artist first began. After spending nearly 7 remarkable years in the bustling city of Kansas City, Travis found himself longing for the raw beauty of nature, the genuine local love, and the tight-knit community that had always resonated deep within his soul.

Driven by a desire to reconnect with his roots and create a truly exceptional tattoo experience, Travis embarked on a mission to bring his unique blend of luxury and artistry to this beloved region once again. So now with much love, he presents Red Fern Tattoo.
